How to get a man that is playing hard to get?

Men don’t play hard to get. If it’s been any real length of time knowing this guy (like over a month) then chances are he already has formed his opinion about you, and it’s that he’s not into you enough to start investing. You’re most likely perceiving it as game playing or stringing you along because you personally have gained feelings for him and really want something to come from that. But when it comes to dating you need to operate like G. I Jane, which means knowing when to go in and knowing when to get out. If you’re still in that situation it’s because you aren’t ready to let him go and that’s just something you have to take accountability for.

@ochitougly I don’t think you sound crazy, you’ve just desensitized yourself from the situation so much over the past three years that it’s so normal you just laugh it off. In the beginning I’m sure you had a set of standards when it came to investing in him, and over time as things happened, you let that desire for him chip away at those standards to where now there’s just none. You gradually think less and less of going back, and now it’s normalized. You leave and know you’ll probably go back and he expects you back so he doesn’t take you leaving serious. Maybe it’s the attention, or if you’ve hooked up with him already, sex pulls you closer as well. I’m sure he’s not completely cold to you, otherwise you wouldn’t go back. Regardless, if he won’t commit after all this time he never will. So maybe it’s time to walk away and really commit to that decision. Otherwise, you only make it harder on yourself, because each time you leave and do the work to move on, only to go back and leave again, then you have to start from scratch all over.
