Guys and girls can be friends without romantic feelings, but it's not always easy. A lot of the time people will confuse chemistry, they will think that platonic friendship chemistry is the same as romantic chemistry or sexual chemistry. Just because you like somebody or you can hang out with them, doesn't mean that they would be a good person to partner with. Some people have chemistry to open a business together, but they'd be terrible spouses.

Also in America and many other repressive masculine cultures, men's can't be open and honest with their feelings with a lot of people without being shamed so they tried to be emotionally honest with some of their female friends and that tricks their brain into putting a lot more importance on that person and treating them as if they would be good relationship material because they can confide in them

Depends on the guy. I have a lot of female friends, but I'm also a child of divorce, so I may be an outlier. My father had a second family and I always remembered the pain it caused us. Not only my mom, but because he had other children WE almost felt cheated on too! Because of this, I've always been very wary with whom I enter a relationship with and I would never, NEVER want to put someone through that kind of rejection and betrayal... so like I said, my opinion may be pretty biased lol

I am of the opinion that they can completely. However it does take a dedication to friendship. A lot of guys don’t know how to be JUST friends with a girl. As they are almost ALWAYS looking for a way to get some sex. But if they choose to be dedicated it can be a long and amazing friendship. I have known a few people that managed to make it work.

If I can’t be friends with girls without having any feelings then I guess I have romantic feelings for about twenty-five girls at the same time. But no of course you can be friends with girls without any feeling besides friendship.
