IS HE INTERESTED IN ME? SORRY IM TO OBLIVIOUS FOR THIS TYPA STUFF?

So I’m a senior in high school and so is he. I have a math class with this one guy I think is really cool and we started talking in class and it had lead into lunch since I have lunch right after words we hung out for 2 days in a row during lunch. The second time around he had asked me where my class was and had offered to walk me to class and even said “that it was okay if he was late.” Once we got there I think he wanted a hug, but I’m not sure. He was just standing there but we ended up giving a high five although it was the kind where you hold each other’s hands, but rather then me understanding that I had just gave him a high five. Also when we were sitting his friends had saw us and smiled and waved and just continued walking without staying and left us alone. He asks questions to get to know me and we have a lot in common. So I was wondering if he had interest in me or was I overthinking it? Also if he may like me? And did he want a hug? And what I should do?

From the details you provide, I would say he is definitely interested in you. He wants to hang out with you and the whole walking you to class is a very good indicator that he is into you.

Question is, do you like him in that sort of way? If so, spend more time getting to know him. Use free time at school (like lunch) to learn more about him and see if you have common interests.

Also, since you have some of the same classes, you could always study together. That is something that is both constructive and you get to spend some time with him. Those are things I would advise suggesting if you like this guy.

Just make sure it doesn't get in the way of studies or that you aren't paying attention in class. Make use of after school time. Find out if he is into any school clubs or sports that you also enjoy. Best of luck to you!

ok so i found out that he actually has a girlfriend,
but i assumed he was interested because he seemed like he was and we have a lot in common. obviously i’m not gonna pursue now because that’s just not nice. All I would like to know is why? Like was I reading to far into it or did or does he actually like me? And since he has a girlfriend why would he try to do all this stuff with me and to me? Like was he just being friendly or was/is there something there?
