Why do guys ghost yet keep you as a friend on FB?

I sent a message and he left it on delivered in spite of being online often throughout the day. It's been a week. We had good interactions prior to this and he just ghosted. He still has me added as a friend but what's the purpose of that? I post frequently and he doesn't have many friends on there to begin with so I'm confused.

Because they forgot to unfriend you or don't care. Since this is such a big deal to you, is there something stopping you from unfriending them?

doesn't care enough to put the energy into it. Probably would if you contacted him on there though
