Why do guys ghost but keep you on their friends?

So he reciprocated my feelings when I said I loved him. Then one day when I messaged him with good morning, I love you he left it on delivered and its been that way going on 3 weeks. My thing is he didn't block me or even unfriend me. He only has like 100 friends on his FB and seems to only be friends with people he's close to but he's on often so he sees my posts and watches my stories from time to time. What exactly is he doing?

They are reserving you for when their conquests go tired of them. And guys will mostly do that to girls that they know would allow that sort of treatment.
