Do you talk trash about your significant other?

Okay so I'm a very good girlfriend. I don't cheat or play mind games, I'm very respectful and do sweet things for my boyfriend. I cook, clean, do laundry while I go to school and he goes to work. We barely fight .well I looked in his phone one day , I know it's wrong but I saw texts to his friend from work saying untrue things like I'm a bitch and he wants to get rid of me. I'd even find texts about trash talking me towards some of his family members about events that art even true. I know he is talking about me because he mentioned my name and said my gf... Well my question is does any one else do this sort of behavior?

I get mad and frustrated with my boyfriend sometimes, but I don't trash talk. I will say stuff like "Omg I can't believe he just cancelled on me, that makes me so mad. After all I have done" But not anything personal.

I think what your boyfriend was doing was crossing the line. I would get rid of him. He doesn't seem to be very committed to you if he is saying he wants to get rid of you. And also he is disrespecting your family, that seems to be a bit much. You seem like you are a good girlfriend, he should be appreciating all you do instead of being a jerk towards you through texts to his friends.

He did it for the pride? :S What the heck is to be proud about when you are dissing your amazing gf? This guy sounds like a loser. If he needs to impress friends, maybe you should dump his butt and find someone who can appreciate a good woman, this guy does not deserve you!

Absolutely not! Granted, sometimes I might whine on how a guy might be getting on my nerves, but I never trash talked about him behind my back. The only case scenario is if we're both messing around with each other and we both know we don't mean it. Because your guy is doing it out of "pride" is no excuse. There are other ways to show off besides talking crap on your girlfriend. >:(

I've been known to do this sometimes but it's only during the times where she's been really annoying me or has done something to p*ss me off, of course Ill vent about it to my best friend. but not to the extreme your boyfriend has took it. Sure Ill sometimes complain about how annoying she may get but I wouldn't go as far as calling her a bitch and or making up exaggerated situations that make her character look bad.

wtf get ride of him, you can do much better. Trash talking your partner is terrible I would say he doesn't appreciate you. I've been in plenty of arguments and fights with my gf's and I have never spoke ill of them to other people. When there is a lack of respect in a relationship it's time to move on.

Uhhh wtf lol...No one who is a good boyfriend or girlfriend would behave that way, no. If my boyfriend is being a little annoying I might jokingly complain about him a little to a friend, only to vent, but I would never call him names and say I want to get rid of him and sh*t like that to a bunch of people...it sounds like you two shouldn't be together if you care about him and do nothing but nice things to show him you care for him and he talks sh*t about you behind your back.
