He told me to call yet didn't answer or call back?

The guy I've been with off and on called me at 10am yesterday morning but since I was busy i missed his call, he texted me telling him to call him back so i did... no response. It's the next day and he hasn't retrieve my call yet I see he's active on socials... it's got me wondering what's going on with him yet I also don't want to entertain or look desperate by calling back and bugging him. What do you thinks going on here?

Yeah, those off guard calls or texts can really mess you up, especially if you are still trying to get over them and don’t feel done dealing with him. I’d really try not to cave again if I were you though.
