I just met this guy online that is acting a little TOO friendly. Is he just bad at talking to girls or are these red flags, he's creeping me out?

I want to first say that he goes to the same school I do and is in some of my classes so I can't just block and avoid him. No, I'm not romantically attracted to him, I just haven't been able to make many friends yet and I thought he would be ok.

It started out really innocent over snap and I was enjoying talking to him, but then we moved it to discord and he started acting weird. I dont think I can add screenshots on this but he was saying things like "we've got eachother" and talking about being a loose cannon and thinking about beating people up if they piss him off too much. He keeps asking to hangout and today he sent me a wet hair pic bc he took a shower too early or something. I personally don't hang out with others outside of school if I don't know them very well, but I also don't want to hurt his feelings.

He's friends with one of my guy friends and my friend is convinced I like this guy. I'm not sure if he's just not great at talking to girls or these are red flags. The bottom line is he's creeping me out and going WAY to fast if this is how he makes friends. I'm not sure what to do. by the way, we've been talking for 2 days online and maybe exchanged 5 words in person.

(This is my sister's account so the age is inaccurate, I am a Freshman. Don't worry, I asked for her explicit permission to use her account and she's alright with it.)
