He probably had it in a safe at home

He must of had a temature cooled room to keep it in mint condition

He probably never bragged he owned it till he sold it

Smart to wait so long to sell it

He is going to be on a spending spree

I don't know cards sell like that. I have baseball and football cards from the 60's-90's.. Troy Aikman and Brett Favre I have in the plastic b/c I used to like the Cowboys just b/c this boy I liked in middle school. Brett Favre b/c I'm from Wisconsin..

That's a lot of money for a piece of cardboard, but rookie cards of well-known players can fetch a pretty sum. The $50K he originally pad years ago was a lot of money for that time... now he's made quite a profit, of which the IRS will want its share.

i used to collect baseball cards years ago but have no idea why anyone would pay that much for that card , its a great card but 12 million seems like way too much
