How can I know for sure if a guy takes me seriously or not?

I'm sure it's different per person, but for me, a big indicator that I'm taking someone serious is that I don't hesitate to be there for them.

That can be in things like answering calls messages as soon as I see them, or being ready to help them with anything they may need me for. It's not to say that I would be doing anything for them to the point of disadvantaging myself; just that I would respect them and not waste an opportunity to interact with them to build a better connection and give a good impression.

If I'm not taking a girl seriously, there would be longer and longer silences between our conversations, and our time together would be more occasional and probably based on convenience rather than a desire. For example, "oh we're both going to the same party, we can catch up there" kind of thing.

Like I said though, everybody is a little different. This is just me 🤭

Ways to see if a guy takes you seriously:

Listens to your opinion- cherishes the time you have together- wants to provide for you or at least give you gifts - shows you off to the world by even something as simple as holding your hand in public or kissing you in public- engages in conversation about topics that interest him so he can share his hobbies or passions with you. Simple stuff like that. He may be a great guy but smokes- we all have our flaws :). Being a criminal MAY make him a bad guy but that's down to the individual. Just don't go into it thinking you'll 'fix' him- you'll get really hurt. I guarantee it

Just to state the obvious, to take you seriously or not is completely unrelated to the question if he smokes or not and equally unrelated to the question if he is a criminal or not... I mean, you could set up a combinatoric matrix, if you want to approach your search mathematically. :-P

1. Say something serious in a casual way to see if he catches it.

2. As soon as you see him on a day you're spending together, indicate that any sexual activity is NOT possible for the next couple of days - if he treats you just a good, he's not a douchebag.

3. Helpful Reminder: No guy will ever take you seriously if YOU don't take yourself seriously.

Put things on the plate that you are for real and you don't want a guy who just wants you for sex, It's better to tell the guy what you want than to beat around the bush.
