Does my dad take me for an idiot or what's his deal?

Time and time again I will tell him information of whatever topic he's inquiring about and he completely disregards it. Then some random strangers tells him the exact same information I tell him and he listens to that person. Not only does he listen to that stranger but he comes back and tries to school me on something I told him from the beginning and tells me "we didn't know" 😒. It's infuriating and exhausting to deal with him sometimes.

Your dad thinks you are too young to have an opinion based in fact or experience. Which really shows that he is the bigger idiot for not for actually trying to understand the position his daughter takes instead of random strangers. I am sorry, I am not sure there is much you can with people like him at his age except let them realize they are not that smart themselves.

That's somewhat his response yesterday when I called him out on it... "I assumed you wouldn't know anything because you never been through that. That's why I didn't listen to you the first time." It's not the first time he pulls this card on me and I doubt it'll be the last.
