Guy's Behavior

So this guy I liked, who I kissed etc., and who I fell out with and who subsequently blocked me on all platforms “accidentally” called me?

I’m not in his most recent contacts by any means. He messaged me to say it was an accident and then blocked me again and then messaged my friend To tell her to tell me that it was an accident. All I could hear on the line was like things being knocked over and almost mouth noises or something. Is he playing games or was it genuinely an accident? He *never* calls me so I’m not in his most recent contacts by any means..
