Did I do the right thing and handle this situation well? Was my apology good?

I’m genuinely not the best at navigating social situations, but I’d say I did pretty well here it seems.

I decided to apologize to my friend for something that happened and got us kicked out of a frat party.

Here’s my original story.

My friend and I got kicked out of a frat party because of something I said. Should I own up to him? How will this situation play out around campus?

And because it wasn’t until several hours after I made the trans comment, it had to have been something else. So clearly my comment must not have been the real issue here.

But of course the man who kicked me out, explained to us that he was an aspiring officer, and that it was his duty to maintain order and minimize tensions in the house. Since people might suspect it’s us cuz we’re the new guys.

Or as my friend who I was talking to put it, he’s their b*tch that buys the house everything. And its his job to always side with them over non-brothers.

Not to mention that the dude who complained and got me kicked out kind of looked like a gay dude. And so he might’ve just been peddling all these microaggressions at me cuz he was secretly interested and hasn’t fully accepted his gayness.
