Was this a good apology?

My boyfriend and I were playing an online game and I told him to do something and he kinda responded in an annoyed voice. I am quite sensitive and told him that made me feel a bit bad and he said that it wasn’t his intention to make me feel like he was annoyed. He apologized by saying “I’m sorry that made you feel that way.” Is this an ok apology?

He's apologised to you. He probably didn't even realise he upset you, and you have admitted you are quite sensitive. Unless you had a full blown argument and he was being rude and sarcastic (which doesn't seem to be the case here), I think you might be overthinking this too much.

In scenarios where someone very unintentionally hurts your feelings that is a perfectly acceptable apology... if they had spent your money with out you asking or was on tinder or something that's when that apology would be a problem
