Guys, is it stupid or understandable to test if a guy likes you by the amount of texts he replies?

Can you really tell if a guy likes you or not by the amount of texts he replies you? And how long you have to wait? Online “experts” and articles say you can do that, I feel it’s very stupid and immature?

So ridiculous, but unfortunately it has become ingrained in (mostly) young people's overall digital behavior. It has become an approval mechanism that is too flawed to be valid.

I have a job that doesn't let me text at work. So you're going to be on delivered that whole time. Plus I like to sleep so there is another 8 hours of me not texting. Then I am also autistic; so I don't really initiate conversations and I tend to speak abruptly.

You should not spam people's texts. But as a general rule of thumb, if a guy is doing bare minimum texting and never initiates then you can safely assume that he is not interested in you.

"It takes two to tango". If he replies to your messages, that means he is interested in you. I use the same test.

I think it’s dumb. I don’t like social media or texting, I prefer in person interaction
