He texts like every three or four days?

Hi , so I have recently started speaking to a guy over text , I’m the one who first texted him we have never spoken in person. Anyways I popped up first thought he wasn’t interested but four days after he pops up with and initiates convo then two days after I do …. it’s now been nearly two three days since we last spoken and I’m quite certain he will try to initiate convo when it hits like fourth of fifth day well I’m 70 percent sure. But my question is …it’s just weird to me this on and off texting that has only been going on for like two weeks , I have never had a guy only pop up every four five days …is he even interested or is he basically speaking to someone else too and I’m clearly not his main interest that’s what it feels like. The odd texting space is too much. And I already told him I’m moving back to uni in another city this week but even though we have never met in person he hasn’t initiated to meet up …at all

While I do agree with the other comment that people talk when they have something to say and maybe he just doesn’t have conversation, busy, etc, overall I believe that if he were mutually interested then now’s the time to at least establish that. You took a dive and texted first, so it’s not hard for him to check in even once a day. But 3-4 days pass and he’s barely getting around to responding or starting a convo, it’s just hard for anything to get off the ground at that rate. I don't know, maybe this just isn’t the best time in his life for romance. It’s not to say he doesn’t find you attractive, but dating and prioritizing someone is a matter of availability and genuine interest in starting something with someone. Just because you’re there, unfortunately he may not be, at least right now.

Yh or he might just not be as interested or is probably talking to someone else , and I’m sure he is active on social medias since his following score etc changes

Very true. Maybe you shouldn’t say anything else so you can see if he reaches out to you. If he does then that’s a good sign but if not then you have your answer..

People talk when they have something to say. So my guess is they just had nothing to say. Or are busy.

The first time they did pop up after I did they really didn’t have anything to say just popped up with a hi how you been , I don't know if I have stroked his ego and now he playing hard to get cuz I made the first move or he just isn’t interested or is playing around , because the timing to me is jusf dumb at this point he doesn’t even pop up in a day to ask how I am
