What would you make of this?

This guy told the mother of his baby he wants nothing to do her or their baby. Yet soon after telling her this, he started to follow a social media account of a pregnant woman.

Why would you follow a pregnant woman account who you have never met, when you want nothing to do with your own baby?

Well what did she do? Guy's don't say something this extreme out of the blue, especially including the child in that statement, assuming he actually did. Seeing as we're only hearing a partial story I doubt we'll get full context of the lead up. So assuming there was a lead up to this, and being a man for 37 years, I'm going to say he probably sees less drama in the other person, more attraction etc... or it's just someone he randomly followed.

The relationship was in some ways toxic and unhealthy. He would tell her hearts to marry her next moment he is telling her he is in love with someone else than he comes back wanting sex, she thought the sex would make he want to be with her again but he just used her. Over time he would tell her he would drive her home as it was after 8pm but than he would drop her off at the train station to get the train home late at night. He was never on time and she called him out for this. She called him out for him claiming he cared about her but he wasn't there for her when she really needed him. He claimed he was in hospital and had surgery but she found out this was a lie and she called him out. They would go weeks sometimes months without talking instead of walking away she wanted to be with him so in a way she chased him over time he told her he wanted them to get married 2 years later he never kept his word about this. Than one day he brought up them getting married again and this time he put the plans into motion and they got married

Months after they married he said he wanted to marry someone else but he wanted to marry a Polynesian woman and have kids with her as he only wanted to have Polynesian kids they separated soon after but weeks later he came back saying he wanted to work things out they hooked up and she fell pregnant and he was furious. He told her he won't be paying child support and the baby will be a constant reminder for him. He went as far as even trying to lie about his own parents not wanting anything to do with the baby the girl is carrying but he was lying and he became enraged when he found out she told his parents about the pregnancy because he didn't want them knowing. It's a very long story but those are some details

He said the girl was abusive towards him and that's why he wants nothing to do with the baby but the girl has shown other people text message exchanges between them includong one where he threatened to harm her because he mistook and misunderstood aessage he received people who have seen the messages believe he is the one who is a narricast. And has issues. Even the girls own doctor heard the things he was saying when he was accusing the girl off cheating on him was left shaking their head and dumbfounded and asked the girl if this is a guy you want to be around your baby around. I'm not saying the girl is innocent sure she has done some things but one thing she has never done was cheat on him and she offered to do a DNA test but he wasn't interested

Ok that paints this in a drastically different light. Given all this info, I'd wager he had a side chick, it fell through, he came back to her, saw the pregnancy as a tie down, didn't want his family to know because he had planned to abandon them to "be free".

Given she has text messages, and rarely do I advocate for this, restraining order, full custody, child support. If she feels she can handle it herself I'd skip child support to have the piece of mind that he wouldn't have a reason to be around. Also she might want to seek advice and lessons on what makes a good husband/wife, to help identify red flag later on.

Thank you. There was another person. It was a guy who he was cheating on the girl with. He didn't know if he was bi or pansexual but this girl is very aware that the guy has never introduced the guy to his family as he was convinced his family wouldn't be supportive of his sexuality. Despite his threats. He physically wouldn't do anything to harm her as his abuse appears to more emotional and mental and he had never physically assaulted or harmed her in the 6 years they spent on and off being involved.

It is hard for the girl to identify red flags and the good guys because 4 guys she has been with and they started off caring and showing her they want her and they want to he with her but down the track one of them raped her, the next guy abused me and pushed her to want to commit suicide and than she found out this guy was engaged to another girl and she was the other woman the entire time and that the name she had known him by wasn't even his real name

She than met one guy, called it off when she discovered he had a girlfriend than this last guy started out sweet and caring and it resulted in everything I mentioned above. The girl also struggles quite a lot with people lying to her. If a guy tells her just one lie, it triggers her in a negative way as lies have damaged her
