Hello, I have a question. There’s a man I had a crush on for a long time. I know he has got a girlfriend and I don’t want to ruin his relationship if it works, but of course it hurt me a bit when my friend told me he’s taken. I played it cool anyways. I asked him about her and told him it’s such a bad luck he’s not single, but I would still like to be friends. Then we kept having those nice conversations. We had a really great relationship, we texted each other a lot and he was very nice to me. A month ago I just asked about his girlfriend name in a friendly conversation, but of course I didn’t contact her or something, but when I saw a photo of them kissing on Insta, it hurt my heart so much that I stopped talking to him for a few weeks just to heal my heart a bit. It’s not that I stopped responding, I just didn’t initiate contact. Now I need his help with some project, so I mesagged him again and he’s like a new person. He promised he’ll help me, but the way he chats is so different. He used to send a lot of emojis and ask many question, now he just responds without any sign of emotion. Do you think I messed up something, or was he just in a bad mood? He was such a nice friend and it made me sad that he acts so weird now.

I know, but he was dating her already when we started talking and he never acted cold, he was really nice to me, so the change in his behavior is what I don’t understand. He looked like he didn’t mind having me as a friend. If you have a girlfriend, it doesn’t mean you can’t talk to other people. At least he probably thinks the same way. Three weeks ago he was so friendly and then I stopped talking to him and he suddenly acts distant.
