Why is he cold all of a sudden?

The guy I like and I were actually making progress for once usually he’s super shy etc but he actually spoke to me the other night so I was happy we were getting somewhere and today I was standing by myself he usually always walks past me while getting water and goes hi Victoria or hey Victoria but I didn’t hear him say anything to me at all I just saw his mouth move I think he mumbled hi Victoria or something but I’m not sure why is he acting like that all of a sudden is he not interested and should I just back off? Because he kept looking over at me when I was talking to a friend later so I don't know why he’s confusing me

He could've had a rough day or something, if you saw that he tried to say it then maybe it's not that he's purposely avoiding you, and cold isn't anywhere near the word, cause he stares at you and you said he said it under his voice so he could be having doubts or lack of confidence which can happen to anyone, it's just too early to tell if he's going cold on you cause this is his first time reacting out of the normal, give it a bit more time before you jump to that conclusion lol

How exactly would you annoy him, he showed interest and you showed it back then it went uphill from there, if you would've annoyed him don't you think he would try to avoid you, which he didn't and I know, I was joking Victoria lol

Either ways give it more time, if you were churning butter and finally got some butter and then the next day you do it again and for some reason you didn't get some butter at the same time as before, would you stop churning? I know it's a bad metaphor but they can't all be winners, either ways don't stress it, I put too much personal time into y'all relationship to just watch it fall 😂
