If so, then no, he likely doesn't like you. That would be my first instinct and guess. It could also be though because there is a workplace policy against dating coworkers, and even if he does like you, he cannot act upon it.

Anything is possible. What is not possible is to read his mind and know if he does/doesn't like you. We can only speculate and make guess. So, I will stick with my guess that he does not have an interest.

If you are planning on leaving your current job, I wouldn't even overthink it. As you mention, you are going to have to leave him anyway, so what does it matter?

I would just finish out your job their professionally and move on, both from the job and this guy that doesn't seem to be interested. Best of luck at your new job!
