To get a girlfriend you have to ‘hit’ on a girl. Hitting on girls is seen as very distasteful.

Honestly I can't relate to you at all on that, try being an ugly guy and being rejected even when you aren't approach a female like that, try being so ugly that your up to current date percentage of rejection is 100% or so6 ugly your own mom didn't love you or want you in family photos, so you have trouble getting a girl on different level but you still get girls that date you, sounds better than only rejection and loneliness. Sounds like awin to me.
Men get the short end of the stick with sex, but men actually control relationships. Women definitely get screwed by men a lot in that department.
