Making moves or creepy?

so the other day at school i went to a different lunch because i had a test. i sat with my friend and we noticed this table with a cute guy at it. i thought it would be funny to write a cheesy love line on a piece of paper and throw it at them. my friend ended up throwing it for me. i wasn’t looking since i was ahead of her, but i heard a bunch of yelling from behind me after she threw it. she also told me that they were all looking at her. i possibly believe that the cute guys knows i think he’s cute, but he hasn’t made a move. i talked to my other friend about it and she said that he is really quiet. me and him do make a lot of eye contact and i sometimes catch his friends looking at me. is what i did creepy? would it be funny or creepier if i do it again? or should i stop?

Might be he wants to keep things secret just between you and him now all people are knowing it so it's just making him uncomfortable.. i guess so.
