My friend, let's call him Josh, fell in love with a girl, let's call her Annie. They dated for a year, they were in love, it was pretty evident. Josh has had bad relationships, but this one was different, she loved the guy inside out but Josh loved her more. They were the cutest. But they mysteriously broke up one day. It felt like his entire world came crashing down. Josh used to cry in class. It's been over a year since the break up, however, he still loves her. In 2021, he wasn't goofing around with girls as such, but recently, he has started hooking up and kissing other girls, now it's entirely okay for him to move on, but when they asked for commitment, he shrugs it off, and says that he is still in love with Annie. Josh hasn't entirely moved on from Annie, he still has her pictures and their pics together. Infact, from what I've heard, when Annie moved to another state, he called her up cause he wasn't feeling well and was missing her (2 months ago). All the girls he hooks up/flirts around with know about her.
Annie and Josh are talking again, they both still have the same feelings for each other. Annie is aware of the situation, what should we do? Why is he doing all this? How can we help him feel better?
