my boyfriend cries a lot

When he feels stress he cries, when the boss fucks him up and doesn't pay what he earned he cries, when we argue he cries

I dont know what to do

One minute he is very rude to me, then he is tender... in 3 hours he cries over some family problems, then next 2 hours he drinks with friends being very happy

Im tired of this crazy as fuck mood change

He's a drug addict and alcoholic, and you don't even live near each other? What the hell are you doing?

Make no mistake: you cannot help him, and his behavior and his moods will get steadily worse as he sinks deeper into his disease. He won't be able to be helped until he hits rock bottom and things are SO bad that even HE realizes that he has to change. And, sad as it is, he may not survive that long.

But as much as you might believe differently, you aren't helping him by staying with him - you are ENABLING him. And at some point, he's very likely to try to get money from you (when he's burned through everything he's got), or even steal or commit fraud to get what you've got. That happens ALL THE TIME with friends and families of drug addicts.

The very best thing you can do for him is to end this relationship and move on. You cannot save him. The only person who can save him is HIM - and only if and when he decides he needs to be saved. That day might never come.

He is slowly destroying his own life - you do not need to let him drag you down with him - but that's exactly what he's going to want to do, and addicts are really, REALLY good at it. Misery loves company.

Don't blame yourself - this isn't your fault, but it's time to protect yourself, and let him go.

How old is he? It's okay to cry, but a man should be capable of overcoming difficult times with smart thinking. Tell him that he's acting immatured.

Change is schedule or hobbies might bring a change. Exercise, Read, make a good sleeping schedule, go out and meet new people, hear life stories. Before all these, if he's using drugs, that's the first thing to stop. If not ready, leave him.

@ItsMykolaJenkins Well, marrying him or loving him will not make him stop being a pot smoker or a drunk. By staying with him, you are enabling him to stay like that. Just tell him out love you are leaving because you want better for him. You want him to get off the drugs. You know he will not go and get help unless you leave him. Tell him you did not want it to end this way, but for his happiness, you are moving on.

I know you probably won't, but it is the only way. I have seen so many alcoholics and pot smokers, which is usually the only way they decide to change. Some women try to have a baby with or marry them in hopes they will change, and it usually never works until the wife leaves with the kids.

@virginloserguy i read about addicts... and actually it will be worse to leave him, the drugs a re addiction and he will vet more and more without having me on his mind... he feels guilty at least, he is honest and guilty

I mean, I do not see how staying will help him. I mean, there really needs to be some intervention. And you have to think about what you want too. If you want a family, I do not believe he is the best person for it. It seems he can provide a state environment, and he has money. Try to ask him does he like it. Like anything he wants you to do for him. Maybe some fetish or something. Just pamper and make him feel like wanting to spend more time with you rather than drinking with friends. I like that he is honest too. But he is too sensitive to be hanging out with his friends, that are probably degenerate. Try to find something to spice up the relationship. He might be bored of vanilla sex.

You are a good person, and I am happy to see you are very understanding, but your happiness is important too. And all he is going to do is be a miserable person; then, I do not think staying is a good idea.

Miserable people want to make others miserable like them because they listen to all the negative bs people say to them, and they realize they are stuck in mediocrity. They do not want to feel alone, so they try to drag people down to their level.

They listen to people. They talk shit to them and believe it. And now they want someone to feel the same, so they are not alone anymore. People like that; I just get rid of them. I do not need that in my life. They just want to take advantage of your kindness and do nothing for themselves.
