I went on many dates with this guy and I know that he frequently hooks up with many women.

I ve seen him meeting women outside bars, clubs, sitting on the same sofas and having sex with a number of girls he meets.

When he realised I won't have sex with him easily, he stopped pursuing me. And got really bitter that I wasn't chasing after him. However, We still kept talking and I do text him once every few months.

The issue I have is he will be seeing a girl or hooking up with someone but will never tell me that he's with someone. No matter how mad, angry, bitter or stressed he is, he will never mention that he's with someone. These days he's looking very stressed and he looks like he's not even taking care of himself. He had panic attacks too.

Each time I meet him , he looks down at my calves (if I'm wearing a dress which shows my calves) and he ALWAYS looks at my calves. But he will never tell me to stop talking to him, or he has someone or delete my number.

I dont get it. If he doesn't like me why doesn't he tell me?

He's hoping that you eventually give in and let him fuck you. It's not a lot of effort for him to keep you "on the hook" and thinking about him, and the longer he can keep you interested, the more likely that you'll eventually feel lonely or otherwise get weak and will give him what he wants. He doesn't have to push hard because he's already getting laid with other girls, but he still wants to bang you too, so he invests a small amount of effort from time to time to keep him in your thoughts. In the end, it may or may not work on you, but it definitely works on SOME girls, and that's enough of a reason to keep trying with you.

If he told you just to go away, then his chances of banging you would be zero. As it stands now, you are still thinking about him, and maintaining feelings for him, so his chances of banging you are well above zero, even if you don't realize that right now.

Nothing at all prevents YOU from ending things, except you won't because YOU hope that he'll eventually give you a relationship. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but he has about 1000 times better chance of banging you than you have of getting a commitment from him.

He DOES see it - he just doesn't feel the same way in return. Based on your description of him, it's pretty clear that the ONLY person he has feelings for is HIMSELF. He doesn't care about you or any of the other women he's with. This is actually quite common among the top 10% guys - the attractive, popular guys that get tons of women - because he's got endless options with women. If one woman annoys him, he can dumper and quickly replace her. This means he's never had to respect a girl - they're disposable to him.

I grew up with a guy who was a minor rock star - no one you'd know, but he was massively famous locally. He slept with about 1500 different women (this is his best guess, he doesn't really know, and if anything, he's downplaying that number) between the age of 13 to 25. Never dated, cared for, or respected a single one of them. Finally, for him, it got old, and he didn't touch a woman for 5 or 6 years.

Then he met a girl, and actually fell for her - and he had NO IDEA what to do. He'd never been on a date, never asked a girl out, never bought a gift or met parents or any other normal thing. I had to talk him through relationship basics for weeks.

I suspect that this guy is just as unprepared for any kind of relationship as my friend was - the difference is, your guy isn't tired of banging random girls yet (to be fair, he likely hasn't maintained anything like the pace my friend had), so there's no reason to expect that to change anytime soon.

Sounds like you are looking for a long term relationship which, this guy clearly isn’t interested in. It also appears that he is treating you as someone that could possibly come around and give in to what he wants. He is keeping his options open by not cutting off contact with you. When neither of you are compatible with your short term goals, I highly doubt this “situationship” will go on to evolve into something more.

Him looking at your calves does not mean anything. Do you want it to mean something? His view on relationships probably isn’t going to change unless he wants to change himself. Looks like he is only interested in casual flings st the moment.. if you are interested in it, hook up with him. If not, block him and move on

Sometimes, people are blind to what they have in front of them. They realize it’s value once they’ve lost what they once had.

The “X” doesn’t mean much if he’s British or Australian. It’s much more common there, and even if he’s not, it’s just a cute symbol. Don’t ponder over it too much. We’re not mind readers, we can’t exactly say what he’s thinking, but I can say that he’s trouble from his actions.

You can consider starting something romantic with him IF he’s changed
