So I met a guy last year in class. He started talking to me and we slowly started to become friends. He was always very gentle with me but was super touchy with other girls. I was very very uncomfortable with any guy but he made me feel relaxed when we hanged out. He slowly started to touch my shoulder sometimes when he passed next to me or put his arm around my waist when he came from the back but I always just smiled, didn't say anything.
I started liking him and we were texting every day, he was always available to chat and we would laugh together and we even called a few times and hanged out outside of school.
He started being really flirty with me but distanced a bit from he popular people. We had a few moments like tight hugs, sitting in a class alone together and talking, laughing and smiling.
then all of a sudden he flirted with 6 girls in one day and he barely talked to me. I got sad and I decided to tell him how I feel. I told him I like him and that I wanted to be honest with him that I feel bad about him once showing interest and once not. He got mad and said he never flirted and kept asking me what I expect him to do. Its really awkward after that.

Today I caught him staring at me so many times and he casually came to talk to me. Why?
