Why is he more happier around his friends?

My boyfriend appears to me more happier around his friend than he is with me. When we are together he is happy but not as happy when he is with his friends. He’s gotten some new friends recently and has been around them a lot. So far he’s introduced them to me and ever since he’s just been in a super good mood that when someone ask him about how he’s been he is smiling saying he’s “great”, “wonderful” “amazing.”

You are making a HUGE misjudgment. We don’t act by your Standards. We are different with the guys than we are our girlfriends. It does not mean we are more happy in one or the other dynamics. It seems like you are missing something that you need in the relationship. Something that he is not providing.
If you don’t stop with judgments like this one, you will never be happy or successful with men. You are so off base here that it is indescribable. I think you would be better served examining what it is that you are missing and have a succinct conversation regarding this topic.

Maybe he is just showing his happiness is different way. That happiness with his friend and happiness with you is completely different emotionally. You can't compare it.
