Because suddenly it’s seen like the girl is worth more than the guy. She’s the special one, not him.

The guy will probably have to hear people say she can do better etc. you don’t deserve her.

Also the girl is in a powerful position as she can crush his world by cheating on him sleeping with the most attractive guy.

I ask because I’ve seen it happen.

Nope. I'm more attractive in terms of appearance than my boyfriend and I've dated much more physically attractive guys. That said- he is the only boyfriend who I've had who I would marry. I would choose him in a heartbeat over much more better looking guys. Because he understands me, values me, communicates with me, makes me feel heard seen and loved in a way i'm positive no one else can. And that to me is so much more attractive than a guy with good looks who I won't bond to like I do with him. I find him extremely attractive because of his personality and how he treats me- so attractive no one will be able to steal my heart away from him no matter how good looking.

Not at all. It actually makes me feel more stable in the relationship that I am more physically attractive. I'm already a very jealous girl so if he was very attractive I don't know how I'd be able to handle it. Because despite him not being very good looking, I worry other girls will see in him what I do, so I'm very protective over him. My point is- I treat him like he's more attractive than a good looking guy. He probably feels very attractive when he's around me. Also its not like we can date someone because we pity them. I've rejected more good looking guys because despite their good appearance I found them overall unattractive. Its so much more complex than looks, honestly.

I disagree because I see a lot of attractive women settling down with average or 'ugly' men because they also fear of being cheated on. If everyone is looking for someone of the same attractiveness level, then it would be really hard to find someone.
