Everyone has insecurities, and I find it to be a bit unrealistic to expect your partner to not have any sort of insecurities at all. Yes, I would not mind if he had controlled insecurities and does not spend too much time fretting over them. Is he working on himself and his confidence? That matters more.

I would not like to date someone that constantly worries about their insecurities and spends hours staring at the mirror or lamenting on about it.

Sure, confidence is sexy, but if he’s on the road to self love and working on his insecurities, that would make him sexier because it shows that he is human with imperfections… just like everyone else. I have insecurities too, but I don’t spend much time worrying about them. I’m insecure about my button nose, but I’d rather not change it and work more towards accepting myself.
