If a guy is lingering around your table but won't say anything to you is he waiting for you to talk to him, is there a meaning to what he is doing?

I Don't know him, I just seen him for the first time at my school food area and I kept eyeing on him because I had found him attractive. Then all of the sudden I started to see him more frequently. And I know he knows I find him attractive because I once seen him have a smirk on his face while looking straight ahead while I was like 8 feet from him looking at him. While I was with my friend, he got up twice and passed by my table with both hands in his pockets and one time was to throw something out at a garbage by my table and since that was the second time he passed by my table, I felt like he did all of that on purpose.

if you like him. Just ask him out. Because if you don’t make a move. You don’t know he will. He could start to find another girl attractive and loose interest in you and make a move on her.

I mean. Also if you find him attractive. Then you have to assume you’re not the only one. If someone else made a move. You could loose your chance.

I mean. When I first read the question. If he is standing by you. For no reason saying nothing. Then… that’s weird. I see what you mean now.

Maybe he has hope you will talk to him and/or is trying to work up the courage to talk to you. Might also be seeing if you like him.

I don't know homie, and I don't know you either so it would be difficult to tell you if he likes you or not.

Guys don't usually play mind games if they are interested, so this is definitely odd behavior which probably leads me to believe that he's not that into you. However, if you still like dude and wanna find out for real, why not strike up a conversation with him? You don't have to ask him out, just start a conversation and see where it takes you. If he does like you, he will ask you out. If not, then he won't.

He is clearly interested in you, it is just the he is unable to muster up the courage to speak to you, my advice is if you see him lingering around you for long then at least try to engage his attention by making frequent eye contacts with him, not for too long but on and off so that he knows he has at least your attention. And i take it for granted that you are clearly interested in him too because you asked the question here.

From what you described yeah maybe but not totally clear. I would look at him and smile and look away. Or I would ask him about something doesn't matter what. Like if you are in college you could ask what class he has next. Personally I would not do more than that, if he doesn't chat you up at that point he is either not actually interested, or is too shy so I would lose interest. JMO!

It means he's interested. He wants you to notice him but still he's too shy to man up and take initiative for real. If you find him attractive you can send him some more signs and wait or you take the first step. Whatever happens after all this, chances are that it's gonna be awkward at first but it's okay.
