I have a guy Friend recently something happned in which he one of my friend (whom he hates) and I were involved and he is mad at me what should I do?

Like we r friends since childhood n he literally hates my friend n now he was kinda mad because of the incident he says he isn't mad but it felt like he is mad what should I do about this matter n also I have to crush on him since a few years so will this mater affect our friendship?

Ok so wht happned was the girl who is my friend used to like him in middle school n he didn't like her so he stopped talking to he n now he finds her annoying n he had told me that n he doesn't like it that she is my friend and now I really like him n I can't see him being mad at me what should I do?

Sounds like he is judging you based on whatever this was that you did because he dislikes this other friend of yours. If he wants to ruin a friendship over someone he dislikes, he is going to do it and there is little you can do.

Why does he dislike this other friend of yours? There are much more adult ways of dealing with things as well. Now, a little more context into the situation would be helpful. You can update the question by using the update box.

If you do, I will revise my opinion as well. Maybe he is disappointed in whatever this thing was that happened. Then, he is even more disappointed because it was done with someone he doesn’t care for.

Ultimately, you two need to sit down and talk about it. We are only just guessing where his head is at right now. If he is a true friend, you should be able to work this out between the two of you.

Okay, so that is a tough one. I see what is happening. He finds your friend annoying. That is really on him. It is also immature. There are other ways to handle this.

Can I ask a question? You mention that this girl like your friend a while ago. Has she given up chasing him? If so, there shouldn’t be much of an issue with your guy friend. That is when you need to sit down and tell him that while he may have found her annoying before, she isn’t interested.

Maybe then at least he can act civil. He isn’t being much of a friend to you putting you in this position. Not all friends will always get along, but you can at least be adult about the situation. I think you answered your own question. You have two people. Let me describe the situation as I see it from what you say. You have the girl and the guy friend.

Guy: A friend since childhood. Sweet. Caring. A good friend by the way you describe it. He is also a bit annoyed with this other friend of yours. You like him and think he is a good guy and a good friend.

Girl: Not really a good friend in your eyes. You find her annoying. Your guy friend finds her annoying. She isn’t a great person. She is wedging her way into a friendship that you want to keep (with your guy friend).

Who would you pick? Seems pretty clear to me. I think this girl is just not worth trying to be friends with based on what you are saying. You should just start distancing yourself from her. If she gets angry, all the more reason to just cut contact.

Try to be diplomatic about it at first. You can even tell her if she asks what is going on. I think you are going to have to choose between them and that choice is clear in my mind.

Well, the first thing is just to give a little space. You can send him a message or tell him something like the following:

“Hey, I really wanted you to know that I value our friendship. It means a lot to me. I know I made you mad and I am sorry for that. I have since figured that ________ (the girl) is not a good friend. I made the decision to distance myself from her. I will give you the space you need, but I really hope this doesn’t effect our friendship.”

Something along those lines.

Aww, you are most welcome! As far as the crush, I think you best wait on that until you sort this out. Maybe he just needs a little time and to hear from you what we kind of discussed with a message.

Let him process that first. Plenty of time to see if there is more there than just a friendship. That is a big step too. My advice is subtly flirt and see if you get some positive signs from him. Put the ball in his court and see if he makes a move by asking you out on a date.
