Uh, do you often receive lingerie from friends? That is a first of me hearing a "friend" buying lingerie. Sounds like he wants in your pants, or at least he wants you in that lingerie.

Guys don't do that for friends unless they have some intention of intimacy. Just think to yourself why a guy would do that if not to see you in it. It is also a very weird, almost creepy, gift.

I am a bit surprised at the age of 30 you can't work this one out on your own. Surely you must know that it is not a normal gift from anyone other than a significant other or husband.

Heck, my fiancé has bought me exactly one thing lingerie wise. He picked it out because HE liked it. It is really for him anyway, even though I wear it. It doesn't do much for me personally wearing lingerie. Sure, it is cute. At the risk of being explicit, it doesn't stay on long anyhow. Kinda a waste.

Without more context, I would have to say that it’s a pretty clear sign that he’s into you in a big way. Speaking just for myself as a guy I have never bought lingerie for anyone except a serious girlfriend or more. No self-respecting man is going to buy lingerie for a girl to wear for another man. Sorry. You may need to return it to him if you don’t feel the same way because you don’t want him walking around with those expectations. It really depends on how you feel about him which is something you didn’t really elaborate on. Good luck
