Guys, Why would a man say something like this?

So, I have a husband, and the man has a girlfriend of 7 years. We've been talking because of work for weeks now, he seemed friendly but a little flirty. I told him my eletrocity and water went down for all night, and he said that "If he was in my husband's place, he would already booked a hotel for me to stay in so I'm not all alone in the dark and that's the least he could do🙄". He seems a little bit jealous about other guys I talk to at events or work parties. He mentioned that "that short guy you were talking to last time... lol". What is this all about?

I would say he's interested in you. A lot of time people will point out faults or claim they'd do better than the one you're with because they're interested, even if they have a partner or not.

Maybe because I already had a stable life, a good carrier and I found someone I love? 😁 23 is not that young though.
