Guys, Why do men get angry?

It’s not a sexist comment. I’m a woman and I get miserable also but never to a guy I like.

Just curious in the context of relationships. I’m seeing a guy who is occasionally miserable. If I say the “wrong thing” he gets very sarcastic and twists it in a way that I’m being offensive.

Afterwards I know he feels bad, although he’s stubborn and will never admit it. I can’t understand why he is so unhappy, maybe I’m not the one?

Maybe he had a bad day and is taking it out on you. My wife takes her frustrations out on me sometimes. I’ll call her out on it and we sometimes will fight about it. Eventually she comes around and apologizes. She never comes straight out and says sorry as she is to prideful and stubborn to do that. But I know when she is sorry.

Sometimes I’ve gotten irritated because my wife will start getting busy in her life and ignore me it feels like sometimes. All I want is to spend some time and get her attention.

Go give him a kiss and hug and tell him you’re there to talk to when he is ready to talk. Sometimes that’s all a guy may want is to just you show you love him and are there. You may not even need to say anything other than giving him a hug.

Thing is we are long distance. I can’t hug him. I also am really unwell at the moment. He knows this and was still being miserable on the phone. I was not triggering him at all.

Maybe he doesn’t want to be long distance anymore and doesn’t see an end to it. Start making plans to be a little less long distance. I know how frustrating it was for me. Long distance sucks. So glad my wife is home in my arms now when I come home.

That’s super sweet you sound a great husband. Thing is, I offered to visit him for his birthday. I asked if he would pay half. It’s £100 each for my ticket abs that’s an advanced price. At first he was fine with it, then the next day he was super miserable on the phone. I think he doesn’t want to pay. This is my suspicion.

No ma'am I read your post and all the telltale signs are there you just don't realize it. Yes, my post was a little smartass-ish. But you don't have solid boundaries. A guy cannot exercise power over him that you do not give him. My guess is you probably don't choose very good men to begin with. But even after that. You don't exercise solid boundaries. You ALWAYS have to be willing to pull up stakes and say "DONE" with ANY partner you choose. You need to demand respect, not ask! And this isn't a problem if you're a reasonabld person and choose a fella that you're compatible with.

Most women don't come here asking for help. They ask a question then pounce when you don't tell them what they want to hear. If I misjudged you I apologize. But based on what you posted I don't think you demand respect from him. We (and this goes for men and women) really do teach people how to treat us.

If he's a reasonable person he will take stock of your relationship as a whole a d say to himself, "well she does put up with a lot of my attitude". "How many girls would do that and not resent me for it later". Like I say it let's him know you love love him, but your love isn't ENDLESS when he continues to disrespect you.
