My crush keeps on rewatching a story of a girl he had a thing with. He’ll rewatch her pics again and her story she posts twice! And he’s always watching her stuff still. Bare in mind it’s been 2-3 months they haven’t even spoke. Sometimes he’ll watch within a min! Is this normal? He also rewatched a story where she’s in a robe and bra doing a mirror selfie. Also ever since they’ve stopped speaking, I’ve realised he’ll put on his story of him going out every weekend and having girls in his story! Whereas when he use to speak to her he never did this! They stopped speaking because he started ignoring her as she supposedly went on another date. Guys does he still like her? I’m confused

Okay, lots to unpack here. I'll explain everything one at a time, so here goes.

It's like what I once said back when I was heartbroken, "you may break up with someone, but if you truly loved them with all your heart, even after there's nothing left, your heart will still miss that feeling." This is probably what your crush still feels, and something that a crush of mine felt as well.

He rematches her stories and stares at her pictures over and over because he misses her. He may not admit it, nor even say it aloud, but he wishes to be with her again. Back when I broke up with my girlfriend of five years, I'd stare at her old pictures on my phone for minutes on end because I wanted to subconsciously plaster her image in my mind forever. Even though I absolutely hated her and she was a terrible girlfriend, but a part of me still wanted her. And that part is still there to this day.

As for why he's always partying with all these girls you say, well, to put it simply, he's trying to fill that void in his heart that she left on him by trying to replace it with another girl. But the fact that he always ends up coming back to her pictures just proves that that isn't working too well for him and that deep down, he still loves her. Which also answers your question: he's still into her.

So what should YOU do? Honestly, there's really nothing you can do because it looks like he himself isn't ready to move on from her. My best advice to you would be to give him time and probably don't get your hopes up about him. You're better off finding someone else who isn't damaged goods and who's actually open for a relationship.

You know the answer to this. He still likes her but we do not know if he knows that you like him. If he know that you like him and he is doing this in front of you, he has no regard for you and is not looking at you as a romantically.

There is only one thing that I think you need to do. First let him know that you like him. Then talk it out with him instead of being so obsessively upset about him watching her story.

You have to speak openly to him. Do you like him? Does he know? Does he still like this girl? Does he like you? Does he see you in a romantic light and as his girlfriend? Is he going to come to you as a rebound from her? Will he go back if this other girl wants him back?

Only you will know these things. You keep telling us what he is doing but what are you doing about it?

In my opinion, this relationship is not a good one for you. You should move on to avoid being hurt and you are being too paranoid. Are you the problem? Ask yourself this and you have all the answers.

Well I can only speak for myself if I broke up with someone and I had pictures or videos of them and had a new girl friend that's the last thing I would be doing not unless I still liked her. Because it's the last thing in the world that I would do if I had broke up with them when it's over it's over

If they’ve been apart for 2-3 months and he is still watching her stuff then he just hasn’t let her go yet. There are so many things to watch these days, and no one is forcing him to watch her stuff in particular. I’d say yes he is still into her, even when she isn’t interested in him anymore.

Sounds like he still has feelings for her. I would advise you speak to him about this in a calm, diplomatic way (not in an angry, all guns blazing way), "Hey can we can chat about something... I've noticed that you are observing all of you ex's stories and re-watching them a few times, do you still have feelings for her?". That's the best way to understand what he is thinking and where you stand in all this.

Its definitely not normal or healthy what he is doing. A guy feeling bummed out for a week would be pretty normal but this guy clearly has attachment issues.
