Guys, Why does my married neighbor stare at me so much when he sees me and initiate conversations? He seems happy when we talk?

I don't know since I don’t run into this situation often. But I notice he seems especially excited to talk to me or like there’s an awkward tension and I don’t understand. He also stares at me a lot even if I’m out walking somewhere and he sees me walk by. Why would a guy do this if he’s married? It’s not just like hello and goodbye but like conversing about things and laughing about them. Aside from that I don’t think he’s being creepy or anything, seems like a genuine person.

Honestly, I do that with my neighbors. My next door neighbor is a single mom. I always talk to her if I see her out to see if she needs any help. I mean nothing by it except to be neighborly. It's not easy raising a child and having to care for a house on a small salary. Sometimes when the only person you talk to all day is a child you need to have an adult conversation.

We talk about job stuff and hobbies. Yeah I have noticed him staring me down when I’ve been out and about.

He wants to screw you. If you don't want to screw him, be very standoffish, if that doesn't back him up, be rude. If you continue to be normal friendly, he will mistake that for you liking him.

I think his wife seems like a lovely woman. My friends have seen her and said she’s not pretty at all, and objectively I’d say I’m definitely more attractive than her. But that’s a shallow observation. My theory is he’s more physically attracted to me than her, could be wrong tho. I just turn around when we’re waiting for the elevator and bam he’s staring straight through me.

That is 100% what it is. For whatever reason he married that ugly woman, maybe she used to be better looking or she was just like his mother or she is the bread winner or he things she's really nice... whatever the case, he sees you and is like "Dam, if I could just one time have some hot porn sex with her.. mnmm that would be so dam hot and lovely".
