The most effective way to get over a past relationship is to get into a new one, but that isn't very easy (my last time in between relationships lasted over a year).
But if it is about loosing interest, for example: if I found out she smokes (massive turn off for me), cheats on me, cannot be trusted, tries to change me in area's I feel define who I am, and ofcourse if I feel we are sexually incompatible (if your preferences don't make a good match, on topics like frequency and activities, then you'll just end up miserable/frustrated in the long run).

There is nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing, cringier than a woman who dolls herself up and demands "interesting conversation," but has nothing interesting to say for herself. I abhor boring people. And it's not even like being interesting is that hard. You just have to live with some moderate sense of purpose.
What Guys Said
When we meet new people it is common to fill in the blanks with the best possible traits. As we get to know each other better we will find that many of those blanks were incorrectly filled and instead the actual trait (s) might not be as attractive or might be downright repulsive.
That I'm not her crush.
That she has a promiscuous past.
That she takes joy in seeing others suffer.
That she doesn't want a family in the future.
That she has friends I'm not agreeable with.
There's a lot, can't list them all.1. I find out she’s dating someone
2. Non-monogamous
3. She has incompatible beliefs or traditions
4. I don’t see an in-road or she doesn’t appear interestedHer being a feminist, woke, queer (a lesbian; sexually attracted to other girls), narcissistic, shallow, or a sh*tty person.
Overtime she does things or has a very different taste from what I would consider my type...
She’s not a good person. She finds someone else. She’s a total idiot. She’s a slut. The list can go on.
I’d lose interest if she’s monogamous or too vanilla.
Chokers, piercings, tattoos.
Deal-breaking behavior.
when I realise she isn't interesting
