Ok so I just started at this new job and this guy who helped train came up to as I was looking for something I needed to stock and he was oh how do you not know where blank is you’ve been here so long And then he tapped me on the shoulder while he was walking behind me and he did that thing where u pretend u didn’t tap that person and he did it a few times And then later he tried teasing me again he came up to me and told me that I have to close as a joke

He is trying to offer you encouragement through a joke and the "product goes here' is an attempt to help. He has your back seemed to be intent and that's why he tapped you.-He wants you to know that it was him.

It is likely the second interaction was an attempt to make certain that you know he still likes you and is not evaluating your work at this point. And, he may be developing a crush...
