So in my early 20s I started wearing a full face of makeup to attend parties/weddings and ever since I've had these 'problems' with guys. I mean I've had guys who steal glances, stand ahead of me and stare until I pass them, stare as I drink my coffee and step out of where they're standing to stare at me as I walk to the other end of the reception area, (my friend saw this and thought it was creepy). I can't label all of them as creeps, but it's awks and none of these guys have any intention of approaching me altho they've been doing it for a year.

your problem was in your first sentence when you said you wear "a full face of makeup". Too much makeup and a women looks like a clown.

Full face of makeup in the sense that I wear the amount of makeup that would be typically worn when attending parties/wedding.

Firstly this isn't about what you prefer, people prefer different things so not all guys will feel the same way as you do. Secondly when you attend a wedding or social events, there is the aspect of conforming to the social norm, so you do have to wear makeup just to fit in like everyone else.
