im texting with this guy every day and he told me he wants something more with me, few weeks ago i posted a picture of me and he commented. Last night he deleted the comment. Why would he do that and should i ask him?

Depends on the comment. If it was a harmless compliment then sure. It may indicate that his preferences have changed. But if it was something that could be misinterpreted then he might have done it to not make you feel awkward. Anyway, its not a big issue
