Why does he look at me when he talks?

My friends brother, has a friend, and I kinda have a crush on him. But he lowkey is a dick to me sometimes however he tends to be bipolar. Anyway, when he is over, we will sit on the couch together with their other friend and sometimes he will look at me when he is conversing with them and i will look at him. I don't know, I noticed it happen a few times in the past and twice tonight. I also want to hook up with him but I have a feeling he would not. Like i said, he can also be a dick sometimes.
