Why in the heck would I want to be swarmed by lonely, desperate, strange men giving compliments to me? I keep to myself for a reason. "Male attention" is also often "unwanted attention". Why not focus on the problem of why guys feel it necessary to have that sort of behaviour?

When I am out in public, I get unwanted attention all the time. Do you know how annoying that is? Like, can I not just go to the gym and workout without some random guy hitting on me?

The problem with your question is that these girls you speak probably DON'T WANT the attention and therefore don't react. I don't. I don't want to be bothered. I am happily engaged. Do you think that matters to these thirsty guys hoping that a few compliments are going to get them in my pants? Nope, it doesn't.
