Why would a friends with benefits do this?

So me F (25) and this guy (20) have been in a friends with benefits arrangement for at least 5 months. We’ve had some arguments about how he thinks I’m being too clingy. But he has gotten a so called female “friend” involved 3 times throughout those months. Recently she had his phone and blocked me off his Instagram accounts, and phone number ( but I saw unblocked me off iMessage). We were also coworkers at one point as well.

He sent me a paragraph stating he needs a break from me, he’s not mad at me, just too many people involved, it’s messy, etc. Just him specifying how he needs his space and to not take it the wrong way etc.

He hit me up again that same day on Thursday around 9ish at night saying “Next Thursday at 11:00/ 11:10 work?

I said if it works for him then yeah.

He said “ U sure”? If so then I’ll tty then.
“Long overdue, current situation just gives another reason for us to talk”

I said yeah I’m sure, no biggie I’ll see/talk to you then. An yes I agree with you in all honesty

He said “ Ok perfect”

Then today around 11ish I saw he proceeds to unadded me. Is he trying to cut communication “break” from me until next Thursday when he wants to talk or something? What are your thoughts?

This other girl could have gotten ahold of his phone and unadded you.

I care about him as a friend, but no feelings. That's why I'm confused on why someone would make a date/time then unadd. He did this when he was at work no female friend around.

This other girl if probably influencing his decisions. He may have done it but it wouldn't surprise me if the other girl told him too. She wants more control over what he does.

So in all honesty, I shouldn't text him or anything. Let him come to me when that time comes to have this conversation face to face?

Yeah. I would play it cool like that. Make it seem like it bothers him more than you which is probably the case anyway.
