Yes and no. If these are some w ho are maybe in other countries, or states I wouldn’t be so concerned w it. Now if they’re locals who he converses w then I may be a little concerned. It’s like my girlfriend told me one day, or asked me. If I could have one pass as to someone I’d smash who would it be. She said someone like Chris Hemsworth. No because there's more important things, like real life. If it makes you feel better tell him that you're concerned but don't accuse him of anything you have no proof of. That may surprise him and he may open up, or he could act like a child and expose himself as such.

Why be with someone who brings this out of you? He could be hiding it just because that’s what people do sometimes, myself included, but if he’s bringing all these negative and insecure thoughts, he’s not the right guy. There’s too many good ones out there, mine doesn’t even have social media like that.
