My boyfriend hides his facebook posts?

My boyfriend suddenly hid his facebook posts from me although its nothing its just comics so i asked him why did he hid it from me he said he didn't do it and he only hid his relatives and may did it by mistake and that im making problem from nothing i dont know if he is lying or saying the truth? Am i over reacting?

If it is nothing to be concerned about (what was hidden) then I would not worry about it too much. It could be an honest mistake. You may be completely overthinking this and getting yourself worked up for nothing.

Is there any other reason you would believe he is hiding things from you, or is it just this? If it is just this and it is the first time, I would think that it was not on purpose and just a mistake. Unless he is giving you other reasons to be suspicious, there is no cause for concern.

You have to be able to have trust in your relationship. It sounds like maybe there is a bit of mistrust if you are asking about this. That is something you both need to work on. It is one of the most important aspects in a relationship, along with respect and communication.

If you cannot trust him, the relationship is going to eventually break down. You will constantly be wondering about things. That isn't a healthy way to go through life or a relationship.

Well this is the first time he does it so that what made me get angry i just said really bad things like u dont love me and stuff i think i fucked up really he said he is tired of this and what im doing and that i make problems from nothing i dont know what to do i think i messed up :(

I think you may have messed up on this one. All is not lost though. If you look at the three things I mention being important in a relationship (trust, communication and respect) it is time to put those other two into action.

You need to communicate to him that you were wrong to think he was hiding something from you and respect his privacy. We are all entitled to that. While I agree that couples should not keep secrets, if you trust him, there should be no doubt he is up to anything.

Okay i will do that. can you suggest anything else to make the situation better? And what if he doesn't remove the hide?

I would start with that. Just let him know that you made a mistake and it won't happen again. Also, don't focus on him removing the hide. That is going to make the situation worse bringing it up again after you said you made a mistake.

Okay i will do that , but i just want to know why he did it i mean its normal posts and all his friends can see it why not me?

That is something only he can answer and something you can bring up when you talk to him about the situation. You can apologize but ask why it is that everyone else can see but you. That is a legit question he should answer.

This is where the trust comes in. If you trust him, it shouldn't matter. If you can't trust him, that is another story.

I do trust him i swear i just over think too much and when he did it i just thought he may doesn't like that i see his posts although he never did it before but in the last month all the posts were hidden so i just panicked

Yes, I think you're overreacting. But what worries me WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more than some hidden posts is that you don't trust him. And didn't trust him enough to ask him about it. And didn't trust him enough to ask this question. And didn't trust him enough to ask yourself (in your own words): "i dont know if he is lying or saying the truth".

The problem in your relationship right now has nothing to do with Facebook posts. It has to do with trust.

My point is that you don't trust him. You saw the posts were hidden and started assuming bad stuff. And then you questioned him on it. And you don't sound like you believe his answer.

So, yes, I think you're overreacting but I'm way more concerned about what I see as you don't trust him. You have to have trust in a relationship unless someone's given you reason to not trust. Facebook posts aren't it.

Whether your boyfriend intentionally or not hid the post is irrelevant if he said he did not. Either you trust him or you do not.

If he gets the vibe you don’t trust him then the whole relationship blows up becsuse you are calling him a liar. You are not thinking clearly.
