Boyfriend doesn't let me enter his Facebook profile?

we've had problems earlier with Facebook and jealousy.

Still, I am jealous on some of his posts which I can see (likes of other girls, and comments)

But, I can't see his messages, because he is not going on Facebook when I am in the room, and I don't have his password.

I keep my Facebook password saved, so he can log in if he wants to check on me. I don't have anything to hide.

we've had huge fight this weekend, because I asked him to open his Facebook and he didn't want to. And he didn't open it!

His explanation: I am still not mature enough to handle his information -I would interpret it wrong. maybe I would, but I want to see them.

so, what to think?

He is BS'ing you. He may be a good guy otherwise but he is BS'ing you.

Such people are usually hypocrites - meaning, if you give him a taste of his own medicine, he will probably fold.

The thing about FB messages is unlike email, there's not a way to "clean up" or "edit" the ones already sent, without defriending a person.

Try this:

1) change your FB password

2) take out the auto-save

3) be on FB and when he enters the room, quickly log out

Basically bluff him.

If you make this look realistic enough, he'll question you - at which point, you can say, there's nothing on your FB that he should worry about - you simply need to keep it secure since recently so as not to hurt HIS feelings, given that we do not have a level of relationships where we can show each other such things and talk about it. If he insists to look at your FB, be UTTERLY adamant that you look at his first - and right there and then, without giving him ANY time to cover anything up. Do promise him that whatever you read you will take with the same open mind that he is to give you when you show him your FB stuff. Make it clear that you're not stupid and won't fall for "let me sleep on that" - which simply means "let me see what I can do to clean up my FB".

Freaking out just makes his point more valid. You're too immature to handle another persons details.

Just because you're in a relationship with someone, doesn't mean you get access to all their secrets.

How can someone who's basically a child (yes you) handle a pair of grown adults of the opposite gender having a conversation and friendship, without getting jealous?

If he did let you in there. You would go looking for things that you DIDN'T want to find, like an "hey:P" and then you would get all mad.

Its his not yours, and what if you did misinterpret something wrong. What would you do? Go all ballistic and crazy on him for no reason.

And if you are really tripping about his Facebook then I know you are CRAZY about his phone all a girl has to do is text him, if they really wanted to talk that bad. You should TRUST him to do the right thing, not have your supervision to make him do the right thing. And what is a relationship without trust?

Hiding kinda. He obviously isn't trying to cheat on you, or trying to talk to other girls. He just wants you to trust him because he could delete all of his messages that you would become suspicious of. And show you and then you would think everything is fine. He just wants trust.

And OK. Trust in my opinion is what ruins most relationships. (and beer lol:P)

I think he probably felt insulted that you wouldn't trust him. Many of us have things that we just want to keep private, even though we don't have a strong reason. Sometimes it's just that we don't want to be judged, or misinterpreted.

As far as likes go, they're a dime a dozen. The content of his comments are what you should be evaluating.

the scene was like this: he said that someone put a picture of his cousin on face, and I asked him to show them to me, cause I want to see them, and then he said no. the we argued, but still he said no.
