What does it mean if a guy who’s been ghosting /not replying to you messages you after viewing your story?

So this guy has been giving me really slow replies after we met, I barely post on my story but today I did and he was one of the first to view it and then he sends me a message saying “hey”. What does this mean and why would he do it?

People say he is not interested or we are the rebound when something don't work out so just don't text him to see what he does if if hey just say hey give it some hours to respond I don't know why some guys do that like in the first we never ask u to send friends request then this bs
