Thought this guy had ghosted me but then he said his messages didn’t send. Does it sound true to you? How should I respond?

So I thought this guy was ghosting me after 10 days without hearing back from him, but he just messaged me that his messages hadn’t sent.  Just seems strange because my messages were still on unread… I thought this dude was gone and now I’m struggling on what to say to him. Any thoughts on how to respond?  Does this seem like a cover up for forgetting or needing a break from me?

Well before you asked this question you thought about it and like with your other question you have thought about them and I'm going to say you have a pretty big heart and no matter what they say

You always say OK I'm going to believe you because we all know if its not the truth or even the truth it going to happen againi and again this i is what it is all about the moment he sent you the message saying what happen you had to make a choice either call him on it or have a big heart and say OK and under your breath saying prove it to me and in time he will but the thing is weather it's one day or 50 days it's time wasted where just maybe in that 1 day or the 50 days is days where the right guy could have been trying to talk to you. But your loyal so if the same thing different guys keeps happening something is trying to tell you something everything is a learning experience we get to answer your question abd learn from them or we don't you keep going through these guys that tell you one thing but do something else you get to learn something or you don't. Girls that answer learn how to read guys better or they don't. Guy get to look at these guys that the questions are about and they get to see themselves are how men really are or they don't. So I guess The moral of the story is. You have a big heart and your just looking and believing i. Love... It's your choice bottom line. Girls already know who guys are. Or they get to learn more about them. And like I said maybe 1 guy will look at this and say she has a big heart She doesn't deserve this and he might change himself.

I was about to write my answer that you should ask for a screenshot, when I read your update that he sent one.

Something I've noticed is that people who are telling the truth about stuff like that don't mind being asked for proof.

Not likely but not impossible. But you also need to realize if he was really into you then he would be anxious about getting a response. He would have noticed that his messages “didn’t send” earlier.

The only (very rare) exception would be if he was on some sort of wilderness trip and had no cell phone access. Or he had a crisis happen recently (e. g. death in a family) and was completely immersed in a legitimately pressing matter.

But that doesn’t sound like the case. Chances are he only “semi” likes you and your just his back up option. Unless he has some sort of valid explanation don’t waste your time with this. It’s rude.

Just remember if someone doesn’t respond to you within 24hrs 90% of the time they intentionally didn’t respond. They saw your message.

Sometimes technology doesn't do what it is supposed to do. Someone sent me an email and it didn't come until weeks later. I used to IM with a female friend, and sometimes it would skip lines. I've had people send me text messages that never came to my phone.

If your messaged have not made it passed sent or delivered then he has not read them yet. Him saying his messages were not sending is a lie since your messages went unread for 10 days. Even without a notification he could have checked to see if you messaged him.

Either you send him a message about going your separate ways, or you let him figuratively walk all over you. The choice is yours.

Possibly not enough towers at Mawson Base, Antartica. There aren't any standards on delivery of texts and they can take several days occasionally. Easily things that can go wrong on his phone too.

Sounds like a terribly bad excuse and I would take it definitely as a big warning sign if you are willing to give him another chance again. I assume you are his second choice and the other one didn't work out that well

I've dealt with so many tech issues, no notification of messages, sometimes my messages don't send for some reason (probably a server issue), sometimes it multi sends... apps with messaging can be glitchy
