Is 3 days of a guy not replying to my message actually ghosting? How many days or weeks of no contact would I consider to be ghosting?

How long have you been involved wth the guy, was there an argument or break up talk, and what is the usual pattern for communicating?

@olderandwiser 6 weeks. Not argument at all. I saw him 1 week ago and before he left he said he will contact me after the weekend ( he had to go interstate for work) but I decided to text him twice on the weekend. it’s usually common that he would go 1 week without contact me and reply sorry for not replying I was working. We are just in a casual/friendship thing but also hang out. I only texted him 2 days ago and i haven’t been pushy so maybe I’m overreacting?

But either way if a guy truly cared about getting to know you, he wouldn't wait 3 days as a rule, or ghost you for a bit, no matter the reason.
