Guy knows I like him and he avoids me but when we are in class he talks to me and he is nice?

There is this guy in my math class that I also see outside of class and I constantly look at him and he catches me. I think he knows I like him cuz he is constantly running away or avoiding me because when he doesn’t notice me he walks normal but all the sudden he sees me and he is in a rush. But when we get to class he still jokes with me and talks to me, I am confused on what his problem is. Sometimes I see him looking at me so I know he probably suspects me liking him. Why is this?

It sounds like your attention makes him uncomfortable, but he powers through it when he has to deal with you in class or whatever

He doesn’t have to talk to me he just comes up to me and jokes or talks with me one time he randomly decided to sit beside me and gave me gum because he offered it and I said yes

He's just more comfortable interacting with you in a friendly way in that professional context. Don't overthink that stuff too much.

I think he know that you likes him coz in my opinion just having eye contact wid each other every time that means something fishing coz it doesn't happnes wid everyone.

So basically he might neither feel the same as yours and just wanna keep doin his work and in class basically he does talks wid you coz he don't want to create an Awkwardness between you and him.

Like what spartan said. Just because you look at him doesn't automatically mean that you like him. You wanna make it clear that you like him? Next time, just walk up to him and say, I like you. Let's hang out. The worst he can say is no.
